The love of this King defies human understanding,
A love that can capture the most rebellious heart,
A precious love that is holy, unstained, and undefiled,
A perfect love to clean us up, and give us a new start.

Love that is beyond measure; how can we resist it?
None can compare, for His love is true and faithful,
A love found only in Jesus; none else can give this love,
It is far greater than the love Jacob had for dear Rachel.

Love not to be trifled with, love that must be treasured,
Jesus gave His body and spilled His blood, all for our sin,
Place your faith in this King; do not reject His infinite love,
A love that died for guilty sinners, who are defiled within.

What could make this King love so freely, and give so much?
Nothing about us, but because of Him. He is love- from eternity past,
His love has no beginning and has no end, it cannot be contained,
Christian, rejoice! This King loves you! Why are you so downcast?

And for those of you who don’t love this King, I urge you to repent,
For this King suffered unspeakably; He was slandered and harassed,
His love brought Him to a Roman cross, where He laid down His life,
Do not reject this King’s love, for you will see Him at the final trumpet blast!

For those of you who worship this King, His love for you will never end,
We will bask in His love forevermore, on the New Heaven and New Earth,
Forever gazing on the glorious face of Jesus, while in wonder of His love,
Praising Him with all the angels and saints, relishing His surpassing worth.
